Steel Traders owner dies
John Robert Pidgeon Sr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died Dec. 8. Born Jan. 2, 1947, in Norristown, Pa., Pidgeon spent his entire career in the steel industry.
A graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Pidgeon was the owner of Steel Traders in Fort Lauderdale. He was a member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors and served on the board of the Association of Steel Distributors.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Pidgeon; four children; nine grandchildren; and four siblings.
