Wall Colmonoy to hold fall session of Modern Furnace Brazing School in October

Wall Colmonoy Corp. has announced it will hold a fall session of Modern Furnace Brazing School Oct. 22-24, 2019, at its Aerobraze Brazing Engineering Center in Cincinnati.

The program lets engineers, technicians, quality managers, and production managers participate in hands-on practical applications while learning about brazing technology from the company’s brazing engineers. Topics include:

  • Brazing design
  • Metallurgical aspects / brazing operation
  • Brazing atmosphere and furnace equipment
  • Brazing material selection and applications
  • Quality control

Attendees will tour the facility and see the actual brazing application on the shop floor. They will also apply different forms of filler metal to supplied samples, have them vacuum-brazed, and discuss the outcomes.
