G-Tec torch booster delivers 150-PSI natural gas for HVOF thermal spray

G-Tec offers its fourth-generation TB-HVOF torch booster, which raises utility natural gas service to 150 PSI for high-velocity oxyfuel (HVOF) thermal spray. New features include a variable 1- to 150-PSI pressure controller and, according to the company, an 80-percent reduction in annual maintenance expenses.

The unit connects to a building’s natural gas supply. Coating quality is equal to propane/propylene, according to the manufacturer. The torch booster is compact, quiet, and fits near the spray booth without dedicated ventilation or site preparation.
