Pilz Automation Safety opens North Carolina office

Canton, Mich.-based Pilz Automation Safety has opened a new services delivery office in Charlotte, N.C. The office will offer safety consultants and engineers and will act as a center for smaller topic- and customer-specific training.

The company's products include sensor technology, electronic monitoring relays, safety relays, configurable and programmable control systems, automation systems with motion control, systems for industrial communication, and visualization systems and operator terminals.

A grand opening on Aug. 19 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. will include a two-hour training session, “The use of protective devices in machine guarding,” which will review regulatory compliance issues with regard to machine guarding and protective devices.
