Rockford Systems appoints CEO

Rockford Systems LLC, a manufacturer of machine safeguarding products in Rockford, Ill., has appointed Joe Nitiss as CEO.

The company provides services such as risk assessment, training, machine surveys, and compliance validation. Nitiss plans to develop new and diverse consulting services to keep customers compliant with stringent OSHA and ANSI machine safeguarding regulations.

Nitiss previously served as general manager of Elster’s North American business unit, president North America of Emerson's Chloride Group, general manager of Genesis Cable (now Honeywell Cable), vice president of marketing and business development for Honeywell International, and vice president of marketing for Emerson Electric Co. He holds an MBA in finance and marketing and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, from the University of Chicago.
