Rockford Systems to offer machine safeguarding seminars

Rockford Systems LLC, a provider of machine safeguarding products and services, has announced it will offer machine safeguarding seminars at its Rockford, Ill., training center on Sept. 20-22, Oct. 18-20, and Nov. 15-17, 2016. Each seminar combines classroom discussion with live demonstrations on a number of machines to give attendees a practical, hands-on learning experience.

The seminars are designed for health and safety, human resources, operations, manufacturing, engineering, and insurance/risk management personnel to learn how to better interpret and apply the performance language of the OSHA 29 CFR regulations and the ANSI B-11 series machine safety standards. Attendees will learn to keep their companies in compliance, reduce insurance costs, and help prevent employee accidents on metalworking machinery, such as power presses and press brakes.

The seminars are led by Roger Harrison, an industrial safeguarding expert with more than 25,000 hours of training experience.
