Rockford Systems webinar to address safety in spot welding, riveting

Rockford Systems, Rockford, Ill., will present a live, complimentary webinar titled “How the Soft Touch Pinch-Point Safety System helps prevent riveter and welder injuries.” The company has partnered with Unitrol Electronics Inc. to provide sales, installation, and technical support of this 100 percent passive, fail-safe system that stops riveters, spot welders, and other small machines from applying full force when it detects fingers in the point-of-operation area, without interfering with or slowing down the production process during normal operations.

The webinar is scheduled for June 28 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. CT. Roger Hirsch, president of Unitrol Electronics and the inventor of the system, will host the seminar. He will provide an overview and compare it to other pinch-point safeguarding devices.
