AHB Tooling & Machinery acquires Westbrook Eng. division

Roseville, Mich.-based metalworking distributor AHB Tooling & Machinery Inc. has announced the acquisition of Westbrook Eng.'s new machinery sales division.

The new AHB will provide a broader range of metalworking machinery, including band and cold saws, CNC press brakes and shears, ironworkers, lasers, plasmas, tube benders, waterjets, CNC punches, rolls, automated structural equipment, and machine consumables, from a variety of suppliers.

Randy Szarek, former co-owner of Westbrook, will serve as director – new machine sales for AHB. Joel Hays, director – service, now will focus on expanding machinery repairs and refurbish and preventive maintenance programs. Don Will, director – fluids, filtration, and waterjet, will continue to provide waterjet machinery, parts, and consumables.
