Astro Eng. to hold open house for Manufacturing Day

Custom sheet metal fabricator Astro Eng. and Mfg. will hold an open house in honor of Manufacturing Day on Oct. 6 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at its Hanover, Minn., plant.

This event intends to show high school and college students, as well as those looking for a change in occupation, that metal fabrication in a small custom shop is a viable and interesting career option.

The two-hour event includes a shop tour, welding and fabricating demos, Q&A with owners and managers, and a behind-the-scenes look at how custom metal fabrication projects are produced.
