Cadence Aerospace appoints new executive leaders

Cadence Aerospace, an Anaheim, Calif.-based provider of complex aerospace components and assemblies to commercial and defense customers, has appointed Thomas C. Hutton as CEO and Dennis J. Orzel as COO. Ron Case, who has served as CEO since 2014, has announced his plans to retire.

Hutton previously served as CEO of PAS Technologies. Earlier in his career, he served United Technologies for more than 25 years in a number of executive positions, including leading Pratt & Whitney’s global commercial MRO business.

Orzel has a range of manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering experience in the aerospace and energy industries, having served most recently as COO of PAS Technologies. He spent more than 20 years at United Technologies, where he held leadership roles in operations and engineering at Pratt & Whitney. In addition, he also served Chromalloy Gas Turbine and Vought Aircraft (later The Triumph Group) in a series of executive leadership positions.
