Core Industrial Partners acquires CGI Automated Mfg.

Core Industrial Partners LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired CGI Automated Mfg., a custom precision sheet metal fabricator that operates a 62,500-sq.-ft. facility in Romeoville, Ill. Its in-house manufacturing capabilities include laser cutting, CNC punching, forming, CNC machining, robotic welding, fastener insertion, and assembly.

Serving diversified end markets, CGI offers mid- to high-volume complex sheet metal production parts, assemblies, and weldments in stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized, cold-rolled, and hot-rolled materials from 24 ga. to 1 in. thick.
