Egan marks centennial year with $100k community giveaway

Mechanical contractor and fabricator Andy J. Egan Co. (Egan), Grand Rapids, Mich., is celebrating 100 years in business through yearlong donations to area charities that will total $100,000. Each month, from February to November in 2019, the company will select a different west Michigan charity to receive a $10,000 contribution.

To be considered for one of the $10,000 donations, area charities can complete an online questionnaire at www.egan100.com through Jan. 28.

Egan was established in Grand Rapids in 1919 as a heating company. The company now offers mechanical contracting, design-build, fabrication, controls, and construction technology.
