According to the Manufacturers' Outlook 2016 report, 71 percent of Canadian manufacturers are prioritizing employee training and more than 50 percent are investing in technologies to fuel business growth. Supporting this industry—the third largest for employment in Canada—is FABTECH® Canada, the largest metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event in the country. With more than 20 educational sessions and top industry speakers, the event gives attendees access to targeted technical, operational, economic, and managerial information.
At the Toronto Congress Centre, March 22-24, 2016, FABTECH Canada will bring together speakers from manufacturing firms such as Tyco Electronics Canada, AlcoTec, McGill University, and aizoOn, as well as suppliers including TRUMPF, Amada, and Graco, with manufacturing leaders, decision-makers, suppliers, and buyers. Attendees will be able to network with peers, learn from industry experts, exchange best practices, and explore the latest technology and advancements in the industry.
The opening keynote by retired Canadian Army Maj. Gen. David Fraser, COO of INKAS Armored Vehicle Mfg., will focus on leadership, strategy, and innovation in the manufacturing business and the impact of factors pertaining to the Canadian market.
A biannual event currently in its third iteration, FABTECH Canada continues to serve as Canada's most complete destination for fabricating, welding, metal forming, and finishing. To learn more about FABTECH Canada or register as an exhibitor or attendee, visit www.fabtechcanada.com.
