Falfurrias Capital announces strategic investment in SixAxis

Falfurrias Capital Partners, a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity firm, has completed an investment in SixAxis LLC, a manufacturer of metal stairs and platforms, rolling and mobile assembly and maintenance platforms, and bulk loading platforms.

The existing SixAxis management team will remain, led by Rob Honeycutt as CEO and Fred Harmon as co-founder and member of the board of directors. Ken Walker, who was most recently COO of EnPro Industries, will join the team as executive chairman.
