Feldmeier opens stainless tank factory in New York
Feldmeier Equipment Inc. has opened a new, $15 million facility in DeWitt, N.Y., to produce stainless steel tanks for the pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, food, dairy, and beverage processing industries.
The 133,000-sq.-ft. building serves as the company’s headquarters and fabrication building. Its other facility in DeWitt remains open as its central components division. The company currently employs 126 people and expects that number to rise to 200 to 250 within five years.
