Fisher Barton to close South Carolina plant

Fisher Barton Fountain Inn., S.C., plant to close by mid-September.

Fisher Barton, based in Watertown, Wis., has announced plans to close its Fountain Inn, S.C., plant by mid-September, eliminating about 100 jobs.

The facility provides precision metal stampings, metal parts fabrication, heat-treating processes, and precision laser cutting and maintains an in-house precision tool and die shop.
