Forest River RV expands in Indiana

Elkhart, Ind.-based Forest River RV, a manufacturer of recreational vehicles and trailers, has expanded in Ligonier, Ind., with the purchase of three buildings that add nearly 160,000 sq. ft. to house the company’s Ibex travel trailer production, parts, and service center. The expansion is expected to create about 500 new jobs.

The company also has announced a $4.4 million project in Ligonier that will include the purchase of 65 acres of land, the construction of three 95,000-sq.-ft. buildings, and the addition of more than $400,000 in machinery and equipment. The company says the operation will create 300 jobs.
