Franklin Tech receives $495,000 grant for welding, metal fabrication program
Franklin County Technical School, Turners Falls, Mass., has received a $495,000 grant through the Massachusetts Skills Capital Grants program to upgrade its welding and metal fabrication program and to integrate it with digital design and robotics.
In 2016 the Massachusetts Legislature established three years of funding for the capital grant program, designed to support vocational education by helping schools purchase modern shop equipment.
