Heidenhain appoints CEO

David Doyle

Heidenhain Corp., Schaumburg, Ill., has named David Doyle as CEO, effective Oct. 1, in charge of operations for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. This change will complete the succession plan for Rick Korte, current CEO, who will be retiring after more than 34 years of service.

Doyle joined the company in 2016 as vice president of sales and marketing. He has more than 25 years of experience in international capital equipment business and technical support management. He currently serves as president and managing director.

Heidenhain provides motion control feedback systems for the machine tool, semiconductor, electronics assembly and test, metrology, automation, medical, energy, and biotechnology markets.
