Lawrence Brothers Inc. to expand in Virginia

Lawrence Brothers Inc., a provider of heavy metal fabrication and custom metal applications, has announced plans to expand its 80,000-sq.-ft. facility in Bluefield, Va. The expansion, which will include the purchase of a fiber laser and other equipment, machinery, and tools, is expected to create up to 28 jobs in five years.

The fabricator, which holds 95 percent of the market share of mine battery trays, currently employs 40 people.
