Lincoln Tech’s Indianapolis campus has opened a newly rebuilt center for manufacturing career training. Lincoln Educational Services Corp., parent company of Lincoln Tech, dedicated the career training facility—named the Gene Haas Center for Advanced Automation—in a ceremony on Sept. 12.

The lab serves as the primary training area for students pursuing careers in CNC manufacturing technology. Haas Automation, founded by Gene Haas, is a producer of CNC machines and equipment. The Indianapolis campus is the third Lincoln Tech site to offer CNC training on Haas machinery, following Mahwah, N.J., and Grand Prairie, Texas.

Nearly 200 students graduated from Lincoln Tech’s CNC manufacturing programs in 2016.
