Lippert acquires Trazcor Inc.

LCI Industries, through its wholly owned subsidiary Lippert Components Inc., a supplier of highly engineered components to OEMs in the recreation and transportation markets, has acquired substantially all of the business assets of Trazcor Inc.

In addition to providing aluminum sidewalls to the North American RV industry, Trazcor supplies custom-fabricated products to the utility trailer and marine industries. Its 80,000-sq.-ft. facility in Goshen, Ind., can process aluminum coil in multiple forms and sizes to furnish brake, mesa, and multiblank panels in more than 50 colors.

Lippert vertically integrated its own metal fabrication needs in 1998 with a facility in Goshen that now incorporates more than 153,000 sq. ft. of brake presses, roll forming machines, and precision CNC machines.
