L&M Radiator completes $25 million expansion

L&M Radiator Inc., a manufacturer of heating and cooling systems for heavy off-road and mobile equipment, has completed an expansion of its manufacturing facility in Hibbing, Minn., reports The Ranger, a publication of Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation.

The $25 million expansion project, including an addition of 95,000 sq. ft., moves all of the company’s operations under one roof in a total of 145,000 sq. ft. of new and renovated space. Additions include wind tunnels for R&D, a paint shop, welding and production line workstations, an interior loading dock for trucks, and an employee training room.

The manufacturer employs 217 people in Hibbing and more than 500 employees worldwide at facilities in South Dakota, Mexico, Australia, and Chile.
