McLaughlin Body to consolidate operations in Illinois

McLaughlin Body Co., a metal fabricator and producer of cabin closures for off-highway equipment used in the agriculture, construction, defense, and mining industries, has announced it will consolidate its manufacturing operations and administrative offices into a 525,000-sq.-ft. facility in Rock Island, Ill.

This $10.3 million long-term investment, which follows the closing of the company’s East Moline, Ill., plant in summer 2017, is expected to add 50 employees to the current 175-person workforce.
