Meritor announces supply agreements with Wabash National, Manitowoc Co.

Meritor® Inc., Troy, Mich., has announced that various products have been selected as standard position and as preferred options on all Wabash National Corp. dry and refrigerated van trailer products. The three-year agreement positions Meritor's loose axles as standard equipment. The Meritor Tire Inflation System also has been selected as the preferred automatic tire inflation system. The company’s air disc brakes, Meritor Trailing-Arm (MTA) suspension, hubs, drums and slack adjusters, and MTec6™ large-diameter axle are optional in all Wabash configurations.

The company also has announced a strategic supply agreement with The Manitowoc Co. Inc., a provider of lifting equipment, to deliver multiple drivetrain products, including planetary axles, to the manufacturer. Meritor products will be featured on several crane types.
