Meritor names senior VP/CFO

Meritor Inc., Troy, Mich., a supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket systems for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, has promoted Carl Anderson to senior vice president/CFO. He succeeds Kevin Nowlan, who has resigned from the position.

Anderson has served as Meritor’s group vice president, finance, since March 2018. He joined the company in 2006 as director of capital markets. Before that he held a variety of finance and treasury roles at First Chicago NBD Bank and GMAC for more than 10 years. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
