Metal Powder Products acquires NetShape Technologies

Metal Powder Products LLC , Westfield, Ind., has acquired NetShape Technologies Inc., a Floyds Knobs, Ind., manufacturer of engineered metal components using powdered metal and metal injection molding technologies.

Metal Powder Products is a global provider of powder metallurgy services, including material formulation, sintering, densification, and powder metallurgy joining techniques. Its nine production facilities in the U.S. and China produce custom-engineered gears and sprockets, complex structural parts, high-strength aluminum parts, and components requiring unique mechanical and physical properties.
