Metal Works expanding in North Carolina

Metal Works, a family-owned company that manufactures metal components, weldments, and assemblies for the material handling, furniture, transportation, power generation, and appliance industries, has announced it is expanding its operations in High Point, N.C.

The company is investing $2,819,000 in a 37,050-sq.-ft. property that will house a powder coating line and additional room for assembly. The project is expected to create 20 jobs over the next two years, including a director of operations, quality engineer, welders, painters, and machine operators.

The new location is expected to be operational by October 2022.
