Metalcraft of Mayville acquires VersaTran
Mayville, Wis.-based metal fabricating company Metalcraft of Mayville Inc. has announced the acquisition of VersaTran Inc., Watertown, Wis., a manufacturer of equipment transport products. The companies have worked together since 2017, when Metalcraft inherited several metal fabrication projects for VersaTran after it purchased Venture Mfg. of Beaver Dam, Wis.
The company is offering continued employment to all VersaTran employees. Joe Simons, general manager, will continue as adviser for product development and growth.
