Momentum Manufacturing Group acquires H&M Metals

Georgetown, Mass.-based specialty metal manufacturer Momentum Manufacturing Group has acquired H&M Metals, a sheet metal fabricator in Amherst, N.H. The move adds 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing capacity and nearly 100 skilled team members.

The acquisition is part of a continued investment and expansion strategy at Momentum. The company recently invested more than $2 million to expand manufacturing operations at its corporate headquarters in Georgetown and $12 million to acquire a new, 8-in. aluminum extrusion press in Franklin, N.H., nearly doubling its current extrusion capacity.
