Morgan Truck Body to add 150 jobs in Wisconsin

Morgan Truck Body, a manufacturer of commercial vehicle bodies, has announced plans to add 150 hourly employees at its Janesville, Wis., facility in response to growth caused by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the e-commerce and medical supply markets. The manufacturing plant currently employs 200 hourly employees.

“We have seen record demand across the country for our trucks since the pandemic began, due largely to more residential deliveries from retailers, as well as increased demand for transportation of medical equipment, supplies, and vaccines,” said Brady Bagwan, human resources vice president.

Most of the new jobs will be entry-level production assemblers. Additional positions will be created for welders, painters, material handlers, quality control technicians, and team leaders.
