Muratec receives Intel’s 2020 Preferred Quality Supplier Award

Murata Machinery Ltd. (Muratec), Charlotte, N.C., has earned the Preferred Quality Supplier (PQS) Award for 2020 from Intel. It is one of 26 PQS winners in the Intel supply chain.

The award recognizes success in the Intel SCQI Program, a multiyear road map for continuous improvement for high-performing Intel suppliers. It is the second-highest honor a supplier can achieve.

To qualify for the award, suppliers must exceed expectations, meet aggressive performance goals, and score 80% or higher in performance assessments throughout the year. Suppliers must also meet 80% or more of their improvement plan and demonstrate outstanding quality and business systems.
