Orbis moves to larger South Carolina facility

Orbis Corp., a reusable-packaging manufacturer, has relocated into a larger facility in Piedmont, S.C. At this location, the company will manufacture metal racks that are used primarily to transport large parts and components in automotive and heavy industrial supply chain applications.

Production began in January at the expanded facility, a space increase of about 65%.

Based in Oconomowoc, Wis., the company operates 13 manufacturing plants in North America, with more than 2,700 employees throughout North America and Europe.
