Parkhurst Mfg. purchased by longtime employees

Parkhust Mfg., Sedalia, Mo., has been purchased by longtime employees Sam Trelow and Toby Pierce, along with James Trelow. The company, which has been family-owned since its founding 70 years ago, manufactures truck bodies, truck body hoists, and a variety of custom products.

Sam Trelow, who has been with the company more than 32 years, was named president/CEO and chairman of the board in 2016. His son James will serve on the board of directors. Pierce has worked for the company for 20 years, now serving as vice president of sales.
