Plasan North America names VP of business development and program management

Plasan North America, Grand Rapids, Mich., a provider of military armor for tactical and combat vehicles, naval armor, safety components, and metal fabrication capabilities, has hired Colonel John Cavedo Jr. (retired), as vice president of business development and program management.

During his 32-year military career, Cavedo served as project manager for the U.S. Army-led Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase. Most recently he served as the chief of staff for Program Executive Office, Combat Support and Combat Service Support.
