Racine Metal-Fab marks 50 years in business

This year precision metal fabricator Racine Metal-Fab, Racine, Wis., commemorates its 50th anniversary in business. To celebrate the event, the company is hosting an open house for employees and their guests Oct. 11.

The company was founded in 1968 by Jim and Marge Madson as a small metal fabrication shop. The company moved to its current 75,000-sq.-ft. facility in Sturtevant, Wis., in 2012. It now has more than 70 employees serving the commercial lighting, electrical automation, food equipment, and medical industries.

The 50th anniversary celebration is open to customers, suppliers, and employees and their guests from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 11. In addition to refreshments, attendees will receive tours of the facility, including demonstrations of robotic spot welding, turret/laser, and press brake operations.
