Renishaw appoints president

Denis Zayia

Renishaw Inc., West Dundee, Ill., a precision engineering and manufacturing technologies company, has appointed Denis Zayia as president of U.S. operations. He succeeds Howard Salt, who remains with the company as senior business manager encoder systems.

A 33-year industry veteran, Zayia started with the company as CMM business manager in 1995 and became national sales manager for industrial metrology in 2008. His most recent role was vice president of sales and marketing. Zayia holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
