Ridge Tool to host “We Love STEM Day” June 21

Ridge Tool Co., a business of Emerson and maker of RIDGID tools, will host a “We Love STEM Day” on June 21 for students in third through eighth grades. At the event at the company’s headquarters in Elyria, Ohio, students will participate in hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) activities and learn about the role STEM plays in manufacturing.

Activities will include designing and constructing a table tennis racket out of everyday materials, constructing and testing the aerodynamics of rubber band helicopters, and creating “dancing” sculptures.
