Roadtec to expand in Tennessee

Asphalt paving equipment manufacturer Roadtec, a subsidiary of Astec Industries, has announced plans for a $6.2 million expansion of its headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn., to accommodate work currently performed in Tacoma, Wash.

The company, which produces pavers, material transfer vehicles, and milling machines, expects the project to create 128 jobs.
