ROSS Controls marks 100 years in business

ROSS Controls, Ferndale, Mich., is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2021 with a new marketing campaign, including a new corporate logo.

Charles A. Ross, co-founder of the company in 1921, designed and built a first-of-its-kind, hand-operated poppet valve to keep a new steel tube piercing process operational following a fire. Today the company designs and manufactures pneumatic valves and control systems for fluid power safety, with an emphasis on poppet valve technology, which remains a core technology.
