Scotchman giveaway to mark 50th anniversary

Scotchman Industries Inc., a manufacturer of hydraulic ironworkers in Philip, S.D., is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Founded by Arthur A. Kroetch in 1967, Scotchman introduced its 35-ton, hydraulic-powered ironworker with only six employees. Today the company employs almost 80 people and manufactures 14 different models of ironworkers from 45 to 150 tons, as well as circular cold saws.

To mark the anniversary, the company will gift a new 50514-EC ironworker to a school shop class. The winner of the sweepstakes will receive a $1,000 Scotchman tooling credit and the power to decide which school will receive the ironworker. Contact the company at info@scotchman.com for more information on how to enter the sweepstakes.
