Stirling Marathon announces $10 million expansion in Ontario

Stirling Marathon has announced plans for a $10 million expansion at its Elora, Ont., appliance manufacturing facility. The 48,000-sq.-ft. expansion will allow for the installation of metal fabrication, foaming, and molding equipment, increasing the company’s ability to manufacture residential beverage coolers, refrigerators, and upright freezers.

Through its Regional Development Program, Ontario is investing $1.5 million in the project, which will help create up to 50 jobs over the next five years to reshore Stirling Marathon’s residential appliance production lines to Ontario.
