The event kicks off with the keynote address, “What’s in store for steel consumers in 2022?” a discussion with Michael Cowden, senior editor, Steel Market Update. Moderated by Dan Davis, editor-in-chief of The FABRICATOR, the conversation will look at the last 18 months of price volatility, what has changed in the steel industry as a result of historic prices hikes, and how new steel mill capacity will affect steel availability in the latter part of the year.

Closing the day is a Q&A session with Stephanie Hoffman, a New Jersey-based welder/fabricator who owns and operates artistic metal fabrication shop UnderGround Metal Works, which creates everything from signage to custom furniture and fire pits. She’s also a workforce development program manager with the American Welding Society and a judge on the Netflix series “Metal Shop Masters.”
