TransDigm appoints president/CEO and executive chairman
TransDigm Group Inc., Cleveland, a producer and supplier of highly engineered aircraft components, has named Kevin Stein as president/CEO and W. Nicholas (Nick) Howley as executive chairman.
Stein joined the company in 2014 as COO of the Power Group businesses. He has been president/COO since 2016. Before joining the company, he was employed at Precision Castparts Corp. as executive vice president and president of the fasteners and structural castings businesses. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Hobart College and a master’s degree and PhD in inorganic chemistry from Stanford University.
Howley founded TransDigm with Doug Peacock. He has been CEO since 2001 and chairman/CEO since 2003. Previously he was president of the company.
