United Stars acquires Precision Gears

United Stars Inc., Beloit, Wis., has announced its acquisition of Precision Gears Inc., a producer of custom gears for agriculture, food equipment, power transmission, and industrial applications based in Pewaukee, Wis.

Precision Gears becomes United Stars’ third gear manufacturer, joining United Gear & Assembly of Hudson, Wis., and Gear Tec of Willoughby, Ohio.

United Stars manufactures a variety of precision engineered metal products, including stainless steel welded tubing, industrial gears and shafts, electrical copper components, stainless steel and high-alloy castings, and precision-machined products for the automotive, food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical/petrochemical, transportation, electrical equipment, and power-generation industries.
