Universal Technical Institute opens doors to prospective technicians Jan. 17

On Jan. 17, students across the U.S. will get a look at careers in the CNC machining, welding, and transportation industries during Technician Career Expo and Open Houses hosted by Universal Technical Institute's 13 campuses nationwide.

Prospective technicians will learn about these jobs and meet with local companies that employ UTI graduates and offer tuition reimbursement plans and other hiring incentives. They can participate in live STEM activities and demonstrations of the campuses' hands-on and virtual training programs and tour industry labs outfitted with more than 30 manufacturer brands.

Participating campuses are located in Phoenix and Avondale, Ariz.; Long Beach, Rancho Cucamonga, and Sacramento, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; Lisle, Ill.; Norwood, Mass.; Bloomfield, N.J.; Mooresville, N.C.; Exton, Pa.; and Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston.
