VW expects to replace up to 7,000 routine-task jobs with automation
Volkswagen AG has announced it expects to cut 5,000 to 7,000 jobs by 2023 by not replacing employees who retire and automating routine tasks.
The automaker also intends to create 2,000 new jobs in technical development.
