Wiley Metal begins transition of leadership

Wiley Metal, a metal fabricator located in Marion, Ind., has begun a transition of leadership with a new organization structure. The full transition, which involves President Ed Wiley and Vice President Rob Wiley, co-owners, is expected to be completed in three to five years.

With the new organizational structure, effective immediately, Joe Weimer has been promoted to vice president, responsible for inside sales, marketing, quality, shipping and receiving, and continuous improvement. Brad Bates has been promoted to vice president, responsible for engineering, scheduling, purchasing, and production.

The company also has announced several promotions: Ben Wiley to director of operations, Mike Wiley to director of inside sales and marketing, and Scott Meyer to director of shipping and receiving and continuous improvement manager. Joe McPhearson’s role as general manager has evolved to include overseeing maintenance and environmental and assisting in IT data backup management.
