Workshops for Warriors to host career fair on Aug. 4

Workshops for Warriors—the only accredited school in the U.S. that trains, certifies, and helps place veterans, wounded warriors, and transitioning service members into advanced manufacturing careers—will host its first Employer Career Fair on Aug. 4, 2017, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at its San Diego facility.

The school plans to hold a career fair each semester to put employers in the advanced manufacturing industry in contact with program graduates.

Employers will participate in 20-minute "speed dating" interviews with current students and alumni. The school will work to connect employers with students interested in relocating to their area or interested in the specific jobs the employers need filled. The event will be followed by an off-site networking event.
