Woven Metal Products president named a Most Admired CEO
Alvin, Texas-based Woven Metal Products, a fabrication facility serving the oil and gas, petrochemical, and refining industries, has announced that its president, Russell Hillenburg, has been named by the Houston Business Journal as one of 2022’s Most Admired CEOs.
Four Houston-area judges selected this year’s 45 award recipients based on their contributions to company success, civic involvement, and career achievement.
Hillenburg has served as president of WMP for more than a decade, taking over leadership of the family-owned company from his father after gaining experience at every level, from shop operator to administrative vice president.
He serves on the advisory committee for Alvin Community College’s Welding Technology Program, is a founding advisory board member for a local entrepreneurial program for high schoolers, and serves as treasurer on the board of the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation.
